Road Parent Coach is an educational resource for parents supervising teenage drivers during the Florida learner permit phase. It is not a certified driver education course, is not licensed by the Florida Department of Education, and does not satisfy Florida's Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) requirement, the Drug and Alcohol Course (DAC) requirement, or any Driver Education Training School (DETS) requirement under Florida law.
No Guarantee of Licensure or Safety
Completion of Road Parent Coach does not qualify a teenager for a Florida driver license or satisfy any statutory prerequisite for licensure. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Florida statutes and FLHSMV requirements.
